Terms of service
Effective October 6, 2026
What Homebase is
Homebase is personal, self-hosted software developed by davideAurum. It runs on your own computer and connects to accounts you choose (such as Google Calendar and Gmail) using your own credentials. It is not a hosted service, and there is no Homebase account to create.
Your responsibilities
- Use Homebase only with accounts you own or are authorized to use.
- Keep the computer Homebase runs on secure; Homebase stores access tokens on it.
- Your use of Google services through Homebase remains subject to Google's Terms of Service, and the same applies to other providers you connect.
Actions on your data
Homebase acts on your calendar and mail only when you ask it to — for example creating or deleting an event, or archiving or trashing a message. Those changes happen in your account at the provider, as if you had made them yourself.
No warranty
Homebase is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from its use, including lost or changed data.
Privacy
How Homebase handles data is described in the privacy policy.
